On 1st April 2010 Opulence Restaurant in Derby was afforded the great honour of providing a 3 course lunch for HRH Her Majesty the Queen. The menu, which featured some of Derbyshire's finest local produce was an overwhelming success and the Queen personally thanked head chef, Dean Crews. One of the most charming restaurants in Derby - with a grand sweeping staircase with original stained glass windows and Scaglioli banisters leading you to the Opulence restaurant where you'll instantly understand why it has been given its name. Oak wall panelling, decorative ceilings and cornice work are complimented by designer fabrics, flock wall paper and Italian glass chandeliers to create an elegantly styled restaurant.
