An East Midlands chain of boutique style hotels seeks a creative, motivated and well-organised marketing executive.
With an established brand and clear strategy, this busy hands-on role would be ideally suited to a marketer looking to progress into their first management position. Initially, key responsibilities will be to initiate and implement a regular programme of promotional activity to increase bookings for accommodation, restaurants, special events, and weddings.
Supervising a team of two, you will be an experienced communicator, with a keen eye for detail. You must also have extensive knowledge of working with data, email marketing software, website/SEO, Adwords, PR and social media platforms.
You will be encouraged to develop effective and efficient marketing systems and processes that streamline operations and improve marketing effectiveness.

ROLE - MARKETING EXECUTIVE

REPORTING TO: CEO & GENERAL MANAGERS
Full or part qualified CIM Marketer
At least two years experience of implementing tactical marketing activity to an agreed strategy.
Accustomed to following brand guidelines and maintaining a consistent identity in all collateral.
Excellent communication and copywriting skills.
An eye for detail and proof reading ability.
Extensive knowledge of working with data, email marketing software, website/SEO, Adwords and social media platforms.
Well organised, motivated and creative thinker.
Flexible in approach, and an ability to multi-task.
Previous experience of supervising staff preferred.
OUTLINE OF ROLE
Initially, key responsibilities will be to initiate and implement a regular programme of promotional activity to increase bookings for accommodation, restaurants, special events, and weddings. You will work also with hotel general managers to develop relationships with local businesses holding corporate accounts.

Devise additional creative ideas and special or seasonal events to attract new business from individuals and business accounts
Support GM's and BD managers to increase corporate accounts.
Brief and supervise social media/website administrator and a graphic designer.
Copywriting emails, brochures, social media posts, web copy.
Implement and manage all tactical activity:
Website, SEO and Adwords campaigns.
Graphic design of brochures, flyers, posters and window displays.
Advertising and special features.
Liaison with local media, drafting and issuing press releases.
Provide monthly report to CEO of key performance figures with recommendations for future strategy and promotion.
Ensure marketing database is maintained and continuously improved.
Generate ideas to add new data.
Establish marketing systems and processes that streamline operations and improve marketing effectiveness.
Act as brand guardian and maintain consistency of brand identity.
