The Lion Hotel as your perfect wedding venue in Derbyshire has a choice of rooms for you to celebrate the most important day of your life in. Our reception rooms offer an understated backdrop for your big day, allowing you to style them to exactly match your colour scheme and wedding themes.
Arkwright
Our main suite is ideal for wedding receptions of up to 80 guests for the wedding breakfast and 100 for an evening reception. Arkwright is a hugely spacious room and has its own separate bar so your guests won't even need to leave the room!
Strutt
One of our more intimate rooms which can seat up to 50 guests for the wedding breakfast. Strutt has a light and airy feel and works perfectly for smaller celebrations.
Derwent
A popular room for a family affair, comfortably seating 12 guests at one table. Derwent is a cosy room which makes you feel at home.
